Kennel Technician

Job Details Job Location: JACKSON SPRINGS, NC 27281 Salary Range: $14.00 Hourly Responsibilities Maintains and cares for the physical well-being of all K2K9 dogs Assists Kennel Supervisor and/or veterinary staff, if necessary, with medical aid for the dogs. Monitors and observes animals for signs of illness or injury and reports to K2K9 Veterinarian. Feeds and waters animals as scheduled Lifts and carry food from pallets to individual kennels Complete forms and report to Kennel Supervisor regarding care, feeding and disposition of dog at conclusion of each shift Bathes dogs and performs related animal grooming and care Clean and sanitize kennels, kennel runs and kennel equipment Stock food and kennel supplies Maintain effective working relationships with all kennel employees including kennel master, dog handlers, kennel leaders, other kennel staff and all K2K9 employees. Ensure that the dog’s health and well-being is of premium importance. Establish effective working relationships with all kennel and K2K9 employees.
