[HYBRID] Associate Buyer - Jewelry, Branded Fashion, & Timepieces Description

We're partnering with Bachendorf's as they search for an Associate Buyer to join their corporate team in Dallas. You'll work closely with the Head Buyer across buying operations, inventory analysis, and vendor management, supporting 35 vendor partners and brands. The ideal candidate brings hands-on buying experience within luxury jewelry and/or timepiece categories, along with a strong understanding of inventory performance, sales trends, vendor partnerships, and category management. Success in this role requires more than analytical or merchandising support experience alone; candidates should be comfortable presenting recommendations, partnering with store teams, interacting with vendors, and contributing to buying decisions within a fast-paced retail environment. [HYBRID] Associate Buyer - Jewelry, Branded Fashion, & Timepieces Responsibilities

• Support open-to-buy (OTB) management, tracking, and reporting
• Manage purchase orders, vendor communication, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate SKU, serial, pricing, and product data across systems
• Participate in weekly sales reviews, analyzing best and worst sellers
• Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance to identify opportunities
• Assist with assortment planning, replenishment strategies, and new product buys
• Support vendor negotiations, pricing discussions, and market preparation
• Attend buying markets, trade shows, and vendor appointments
• Travel to store locations quarterly to support merchandising and product presentation

[HYBRID] Associate Buyer - Jewelry, Branded Fashion, & Timepieces Qualifications

• 4+ years of purchasing experience within jewelry and/or timepieces required
• Experience supporting retail store buying environments required
• Experience managing or supporting multiple brands and vendor relationships required
• Ability to discuss KPIs including sell-through, inventory turns, and YoY sales growth required
• ~10% domestic travel required, with occasional international travel opportunities
