Job Summary  

T he Connect Ambassador will serve as the first point of contact for customers at, guiding them to appropriate resources, answering basic questions, and supporting overall customer experience initiatives. This role also contributes to community outreach efforts, special events, facility operations, and customer education programs. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cus tomer Engagement & Support (Approx. 65%)
2. Greet customers and assess their needs
3. Answer basic customer questions effectively
4. Manage customer traffic flow within the facility
5. Assist customers with payments and service inquiriesCollaborate with Connect staff on escalations and issue resolution
6. Support daily customer service operations as needed
7. Provide a positive and welcoming customer experience
8. Community Outreach & Event Support (Approx. 35%)
9. Assist with event setup, coordination, and teardown
10. Support internal and external stakeholders during events
11. Assist during extended outage situations when required
12. Help develop workshops and seminars for community/customer groups
13. Assist with opening and closing the facility, ensuring security procedures are followed
14. Gather data and feedback related to community events and partnerships
15. Educate customers on energy efficiency products and services
16. Process enrollments for applicable programs

Required Qualifications

1. H igh School Diploma (requirede
2. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
3. Strong communication and customer service skills
4. Professional and personable demeanor
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
7. Good judgment and problem-solving ability
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in face-to-face customer service environments
2. Experience working in fast-paced settings
3. Spanish bilingual skills

Certifications (if any)

1. None required; customer service or community engagement certifications are a plus
