AP/AR Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) | St. Louis, MO

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time AP/AR Administrative Assistant to support daily accounting and office operations. This role will primarily focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, filing, and general administrative support within a fast-paced office environment. This position is expected to start at approximately 3 days per week, with potential to increase to 4 days depending on workload and business needs. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions Enter, review, and maintain invoice records accurately Handle cash receipt processing and payment documentation Maintain organized filing systems and financial records Assist with invoice reconciliation and general accounting support tasks Support daily office administrative functions as needed Work within ERP/accounting systems to track and process transactions Communicate professionally with internal staff regarding payment and invoice matters Assist with ongoing process improvements and administrative workflow support Qualifications Previous AP/AR or accounting administrative experience preferred Experience working with invoices, cash receipts, and financial documentation General ERP or accounting software experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Strong communication and reliability Preferred Experience ERP system experience such as Open Accounts, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms Prior experience supporting accounting or administrative departments Experience processing moderate-to-high invoice volume environments Schedule Approximately 24-32 hours per week Expected schedule of 3-4 days weekly Potential for long-term opportunity depending on business needs Benefits of working with Express Weekly pay and immediate benefits Evaluation to Direct Hire Positions - get your foot in the door at a great company!
