Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, rapid assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to manage acute healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a high acuity ER setting managing 4-6 patients per RN.
• Perform advanced medical procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, and central line placement.
• Caring for psychiatric patients and facilitating their transfers per EMTALA guidelines.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR - Meditech.
• Function as a team player, collaborating with medical staff for high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Completion of 2-3 travel assignments preferred.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC.
• Preferred Certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH Stroke Scale.
