Litigation Attorney-Family Law

Boutique family law firm is looking for a litigation attorney with at least 3 years litigation experience to join its growing practice. Strong writing and research skills a must. Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, writing skills and an excitement to litigate. We provide a friendly and relaxed work environment. Must be licensed to practice law in Connecticut. Starting pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

* Provide legal support to clients and assist attorneys
* Maintain client relationships
* Ability to handle a litigation from intake to conclusion
* Legal research
* Court appearances, both remote and in person
* Conduct and defend depositions
* Discovery review and analysis
* Draft motions and other documents necessary for trial
* Efficiency is a must

Qualifications

* JD, bar passage and admitted to practice in Connecticut
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong legal knowledge and willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
