Quality Control Manager

Quality Control (QC) Manager, Federal Construction, Porterville, CA

A federal general contractor is hiring a Quality Control Manager for an active multi-million dollar ground up build in Porterville, CA.

As QC Manager, you'll implement and manage the project's Quality Control program from end to end. That means performing the three phases of control, reviewing and approving submittals, and coordinating inspections, testing, and documentation across every phase of the build. You'll also manage QC specialists, testing labs, and inspection personnel, and coordinate Special Inspectors as required, working closely with the project manager, superintendents, and project engineers already on site.

What you'll need

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• 4+ years of construction experience, including 2+ years specifically as a QC Manager
• QCM certification and a working knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and the three phases of control

Nice to have, not required:

• A PE license or licensed architect status
• Prior federal or USACE experience

This is a direct hire, on site position, day shift, five days a week, with an immediate start. Compensation is $130,000 to $160,000 depending on experience, plus per diem.
