Job Summary:

The Physician Assistant is responsible to provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician, perform physical examinations and take detailed medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, prescribe medications and other treatments, educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options, collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Requires Master's degree in physician assistant studies.

• Current active state license as Physician Assistant.

• Prior experience in Internal/Family Practice is preferred.

• Computer literate. EMR experience preferred - (ECW)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting is required.
