Overview WTVC NewsChannel 9/FOX Chattanooga has an incredible opportunity for a full-time Weekend AM News Anchor/MMJ. In this role, you will be required to produce daily content on all platforms including social media, our website, and linear broadcasts. We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of digital first storytelling, first person reporting, and linear TV production. It\'s important to have strong writing skills, situational awareness, be willing to dig deep on stories and have knowledge of current events. Responsibilities Produce daily content on all platforms including social media, our website, and linear broadcasts Demonstrate a clear understanding of digital-first storytelling and first-person reporting Support linear TV production as needed Maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and solicit original story ideas Generate own story ideas daily and exercise enterprise reporting and creativity Show strong writing and verbal communication skills with situational awareness Dig deep on stories and stay informed about current events Qualifications 1-2 years minimum of on-air broadcast experience, including anchoring Live shot experience EEO Statement Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
