Physical TherapistRebound is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Camas Physical Therapy clinic!Our Physical Therapists are responsible for rehabilitating people with physical disabilities and/or injuries. Patients include post surgical, accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and post surgical patients. The ideal candidate may specialize in pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, or cardiopulmonary physical therapy. The candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, a superior commitment to patient care, and the ability to work closely with patients and physicians.New PT Graduates are encouraged to apply!Responsibilities:Support an environment that reinforces Rebound's mission and Core Values of Superior Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Recognition.Escort patients to the exam room and assist in chart documentation.Take vital signs and assist patients in patient flow through the clinic.Prepare exam rooms and instruments for examination and testing.Stock the exam rooms, injectable medication cabinet, ensure that all supplies are "in date" and stored according to manufacturer's directions.Coordinate communication with patient and providers including phone calls, message handling, and processing paperwork.Label, prepare, and maintain proper storage for specimens and tests. Ensure tests are picked up by lab personnel and obtain results.Ensure that lab reports, imaging, and other information are available to providers.Assist physicians and APP's with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.Check appointment schedule and assist Call Center with physician's patient schedule.Dispense outpatient materials, assist in application and instructions on use per provider directions.Schedule patients for follow up appointments, ancillary tests, and procedures.Handle laundry, disinfect exam room and maintain sharps containers to comply with safety protocol.Attend required meetings and in-services and participate in committees as requested.Complete all required annual trainings prior to the deadline.Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations.Perform related work as required.Qualifications:Graduation from high school or GED. Graduate from a Medical Assisting program or an accredited State Board of Nursing LPN program.Valid Washington State certification required if working in WA State, preferred if working in OR state; or current licensure as an LPN; current BLS Certification.One year of work experience as an MA, preferably in a clinic setting.Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment, including the ability to maintain quality control standardsSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.Ability to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions, including communicating clearly.Physical Requirements:Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds, and push patients in wheelchair with weights up to 300 pounds.Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Requires ability to handle multiple demands at times.Occasional exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.This position is required to be on site at assigned clinical locations 100% of the time.May need to travel between offices in Oregon and Washington.Proud to Offer:Medical/Vision/RxDental401(K) Retirement Plan, including discretionary profit sharingCompany paid Life Insurance/AD&DVoluntary Life insurance/AD&DCompany paid short and long-term disabilityFlexible Spending and Health Saving AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off accrued at up to 24 days in your first year based on FTEContinuing education and professional due reimbursementFirst year productivity bonus of $3,000 guaranteed in year 1This is a great opportunity to work in a quality organization with Top Doctors in the Northwest.
