About the job Quality Inspector Machine Operator We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations, while also operating production machinery. The Quality Inspector / Machine Operator will be responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and tests to verify product integrity and adherence to specifications, and operating production machinery. Responsibilities include: Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing product quality. Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance. Operate and monitor production machinery. Perform quality checks on products during the production process. Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Assist with other production tasks as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines. Will train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
