This travel Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is based in Vallejo, California, a vibrant community in the North Bay region. You can expect a consistent weekly schedule of approximately 35 hours, with the day starting around 7. As a travel clinician, you will be integrated into a supportive educational team while maintaining the autonomy that travelers value. You will collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers. The caseload will typically range from about 55 to 60 students across preschool through middle school grades. Students on your caseload may present with a variety of needs including articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, writing comprehensive reports, developing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing both direct and indirect therapy services. A key component of this role is supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). You will oversee SLPA service delivery, assign appropriate therapy tasks, monitor documentation, and ensure that all services meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
