This role develops and delivers customer and market plans that drive volume, profit, share, and distribution growth across brick-and-mortar and eCommerce channels. The Team Leader leads and develops a team of Customer Sales Leads (CSLs), establishes priorities across the customer portfolio, and ensures consistent execution of brand, category, and customer strategies. The role partners closely with DSD Operations and cross-functional teams to translate business plans into strong marketplace execution, address customer and operational opportunities, and deliver Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing (DSMP) objectives across assigned Snacks categories.This role is remote within the Pacific West region, with proximity to key customers, markets, and DSD Operations partners preferred.What You Will Do…Lead the Pacific West regional customer portfolio, setting priorities and strategies across multiple small- to mid-size grocery customersDevelop and execute annual customer and market plans aligned with volume, profit, share, distribution, and trade objectivesLead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Sales Leads, including performance management, capability building, workload prioritization, and succession planningEstablish clear portfolio objectives and operating routines that enable consistent planning, execution, and accountability across customersBuild and maintain relationships with customer decision makers across the region and support CSLs in advancing strategic customer partnershipsPartner closely with DSD Operations to align customer plans with field capabilities, improve in-store execution, resolve operational issues, and capture growth opportunitiesLead cross-functional collaboration with Sales Strategy, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, and other business partnersTranslate brand, category, shopper, and market insights into customer-specific strategies and selling storiesDrive Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing execution across the regional customer portfolioManage trade investment, sales spending, forecasts, and customer P&Ls to deliver financial commitmentsMonitor performance across customers and markets, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans to improve resultsProvide regional customer, competitive, and operational insights to Sales leadership and headquarters partnersEnsure compliance with Campbell policies, customer agreements, and contractual commitmentsLead resolution of complex customer, supply, and execution issues across multiple markets and initiativesTravel required: approximately 15-20%.Who You Will Work With…You’ll report to the Vice President, Snacks Regional Customer WestA team of Customer Sales Leads supporting regional grocery customers across the Pacific WestCustomer owners, buyers, and other decision makers across assigned regional accountsDSD Operations leaders and field execution teams across the regionInternal partners including Sales Strategy, Supply Chain, Customer Planning, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales FinanceCross-functional partners in Channel Marketing, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and other Campbell business teamsWhat You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)Bachelor’s degree8+ years of related experience; an MBA may count toward additional experienceSales experience supporting national, regional, or multi-customer portfoliosDemonstrated people leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilitiesStrong problem-solving, prioritization, and strategic thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong negotiation, influence, and interpersonal skillsBusiness planning and P&L management expertiseStrong financial acumen with trade planning experience; e4 experience is a plusAbility to lead through complexity and coordinate execution across customers, markets, and cross-functional partnersIt Would Be Great If You Have… (Nice to Have)Experience leading a team of customer sales professionalsExperience managing a portfolio of small- to mid-size regional grocery customersExperience partnering with DSD Operations or field sales organizationsExpertise in cross-functional team leadershipFamiliarity with shopper marketing, category insights, and regional market dynamicsComfort working across geographically diverse marketsMobility for career developmentCPG experienceWhile this position is designated as remote, candidates should be located within or near the Pacific West region to support customer engagement, team leadership, and partnership with DSD Operations.Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $152,300-$209,400Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
