Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a part-time BC/BE Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide clinical services and inpatient consultation at Presbyterian Espanola Hospital in Espanola, New Mexico. - Acute care hospital with 80 licensed beds
- Not-for-profit hospital
- Unique partnership between the County of Rio Arriba, a local Board of Trustees, and Presbyterian Healthcare Services
Responsibilities
- Maintains active or associate membership on PHS Medical Staff in good standing
- Performs professional clinical duties as the psychiatrist of record for adult patients as directed, according to accepted standards of professional psychiatric practice
- Collaborates with Addiction team to manage behavioral health aspects of care
- Collaborates with Hospitalist team on behavioral health medication management as needed
- Participates in PEH Behavioral Health Interprofessional Consultation (IPC)
- Active participation in initiatives to improve clinical and service quality as directed by program administration
- Serves in a leadership role in regard to the care of own patients
- Performs additional duties as directed
