Lead a flagship manufacturing site and shape regional performance
Step into a pivotal role on the Americas Management team as the senior leader of one of our largest global manufacturing facilities in Milford. You will own full P&L responsibility, translate regional operating plans into site-level execution, and ensure that every order moves from receipt to customer delivery safely, efficiently, and ethically.
A day in the lifeYour morning starts with a review of the plant’s KPIs and Operating Margin targets, followed by a Gemba walk to engage production, quality, and manufacturing engineering leaders. Midday, you’ll align with sales, marketing, product engineering, and finance on plant loading for our engineer-to-order/configure-to-order work. By afternoon, you’re driving continuous improvement under BAC Excellence (BAC-X), reinforcing safety and compliance, and developing talent to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s ambitions.
What you’ll lead from order to delivery- Materials planning and procurement, outbound logistics, plant loading, and daily operations
- Manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, environmental compliance, sustainability, and safety
- Employee training, equipment maintenance, site security, continuous improvement, and warranty field service
- Steward the facility P&L and deliver the target Operating Margin
- Build and execute short- and long-range plans, policies, and objectives
- Consistently achieve production volumes and quality standards
- Optimize resource plans and plant loading to strengthen competitiveness and profitability
- Guide department and functional managers to achieve the operations plan
- Establish clear, timely communication so all employees understand decisions, policies, and performance expectations
- Champion programs vital to manufacturing excellence: safety, training, housekeeping, security, sustainability, and compliance with all legal and ethical standards
- Execute standard processes and KPIs defined in BAC-X
- Develop talent for current and future organizational needs
- Take proactive corrective actions aligned with company policy
- Build budgets that support operational goals and prudent resource management
- Partner across sales/marketing, new product development, and global operations for superior coordination and best-practice sharing
- Provide performance reporting and take on special projects as needed
- 15+ years in manufacturing leadership, including 5+ years running a plant with 300+ employees
- Track record building strong leadership teams and leading change (strategic planning, risk management, mitigation)
- Fluency in reading and managing to financial statements
- Project/change management experience; engineer-to-order/configure-to-order exposure preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred
- Deep commitment to Lean with evidence of driving measurable improvements via a lean operating system
- Working knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices

This role reports to the Regional VP, Operations – Americas, and engages at all levels across worldwide locations. You’ll closely partner with sales, marketing, product engineering, and finance, and participate on global teams comparing KPIs and sharing best practices to elevate BAC’s worldwide operations.
Compensation & benefits: Hiring range $180,000 to $230,000. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), an employee stock ownership plan, and eligibility for an annual bonus incentive. Learn more at
