Position Details:

• Job Title: Business Analyst | W2-CONTRACT ROLE

• Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

• Duration: Long-Term Contract

• Interview: Web-Based

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities.

• Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and traceability matrices.

• Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.

• Develop process models and workflow diagrams using Visio, BPMN, or similar tools.

• Support Agile and Waterfall project methodologies using Jira or similar project management tools.

• Participate in system testing activities, including test planning, test case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation.

• Analyze and validate data using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.

• Support system integrations, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data flow validation activities.

• Work closely with development, QA, support, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Provide regular project status updates and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

• Assist with process improvement initiatives, strategic planning, quality assurance, and governance activities.

• Develop technical documentation, standards, procedures, and policies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.

• PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) or CBAP Certification.

• MCSE/CSEP Certification.

• Experience working with Child Welfare systems or government agencies.

• Knowledge of Salesforce, Jira, Axure RP, and enterprise application platforms.

• Experience with financial workflows and translating business operations into technical requirements.

#SKILLS MATRIX:

Experience performing business process analysis and creating documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and traceability matrices
Experience in business process modeling and workflow design using Visio, BPMN, or similar tools
Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, testing support, and implementation
