Learning and Development plays an important role in this transformation by helping employees build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to successfully adopt new technology and ways of working.


As an Instructional Designer, you'll support Endpoint's digital-first learning strategy by designing engaging, learner-centered experiences that build knowledge, strengthen skills, and support employee performance within the Endpoint operating model.


In this role, you will partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), product teams, and stakeholders to translate complex Endpoint processes and technology into clear, practical learning experiences. You will apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to determine the right solution for each learning need.


Solutions may include eLearning, self-paced learning, Digital Adoption Platform guidance and walkthroughs, instructor-led and virtual training, and other performance-support resources.


The goal extends beyond teaching employees how to use Endpoint Workspace. Our learning experiences help employees confidently apply what they learn to their work, understand how Endpoint supports the transaction, and build the skills needed to perform independently as the Workspace continues to evolve.

What You'll Do

• Bring story, purpose, vision, and business context into technical learning experiences, helping learners understand not only how to use Endpoint Workspace, but why the technology and new ways of working matter and how they connect to the broader Endpoint transformation.
• Conduct learning needs analysis to identify performance gaps, learner needs, business requirements, and the appropriate learning solution.
• Design and develop engaging, learner-centered solutions across multiple modalities, including eLearning, self-paced learning, digital adoption experiences, instructor-led training, virtual training and performance support.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create structured learning experiences aligned with clear objectives and desired performance outcomes.
• Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, product teams, trainers, and other cross-functional partners to gather information, validate content, and translate business and technical requirements into effective learning experiences.
• Translate complex processes, systems, and technical concepts into clear, practical, and easy-to-understand learning experiences.
• Develop learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, assessments, knowledge checks, and supporting resources.
• Design scenario-based activities, simulations, practice opportunities, and knowledge checks that allow learners to apply skills in realistic situations.
• Assist with the design of digital learning and in-app performance support using platforms such as Whatfix, including walkthroughs, guided experiences, task-based learning, and contextual support that reinforces learning within the flow of work.
• Help shape the learning experience within the established learning strategy by determining how formal training, self-paced learning, digital guidance, practice, and performance support should work together to meet identified learner and business needs.
• Build polished, production-ready learning materials, including presentations, eLearning courses, job aids, infographics, videos, and other instructional assets.
• Collaborate with training partners to ensure learning materials are practical, intuitive, and ready for effective delivery.
• Manage instructional design projects from intake through implementation, including discovery, design, development, stakeholder review, revisions, quality assurance, and deployment.
• Conduct quality assurance and learning reviews to ensure content is accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with learning objectives and organizational standards.
• Gather and analyze learner feedback, engagement data, assessment results, and performance insights to evaluate learning effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update learning solutions as systems, processes, products, and business needs evolve.
• Thoughtfully leverage AI tools to improve the efficiency, scalability, quality of instructional design and content development.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-7 years of experience designing and developing learning content for adult learners in a corporate or commercial environment.
• Demonstrated experience designing learning solutions for adult learners across multiple delivery methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with SMEs and stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
• Ability to translate complex, technical, or process-heavy information into clear and engaging learning experiences.
• Working knowledge ofinstructionaldesign principles (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's, ARCS, SCARF, etc.) as a practical foundation.
• Experience designing content for digital adoption platforms such as Whatfix, Amplitude, Pendo, or similar guided learning technologies preferred.
• Ability to create learning materials that are visually appealing, engaging, and learner friendly.
• Openness to using AI tools thoughtfully to improve efficiency and quality in learning design and development.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing system or software training and supporting learners through technology or process change.
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• A passion for and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Preferred, but not required: Familiarity with video or motion elements (e.g., screen recordings, short animations, explainer videos).

Tools & Technical Experience

Experience with some of the following:

• Whatfix or other Digital Adoption Platforms (DAP)
• Articulate 360 (Storyline 360 and Rise)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, etc...)
• Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Techsmith (Camtasia and Snagit)
• AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot

Pay Range: $64,300.00 - $85,700.00 Annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
