Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize practical nursing principles and skills to provide quality patient care and treatment.
• Perform examinations, diagnostic and treatment procedures, and administer medications.
• Educate patients regarding their health and treatment options.
• Identify and analyze problems, prioritize tasks, and make confident decisions regarding patient care.
• Administer a variety of medications and treatments, using various types of medical equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; renew every two years.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Schedule

This position is for Day Shift, Monday through Friday.
