CANNABIS FACILITY SANITATION TECH

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for part-time evening,Temporary Sanitation Techs in the Tacoma, Washington, area.For the right candidate, this could convert to a permanent position.This position requires on-site work Monday - Friday from 6 pm - 11:30 pm starting immediately.

You will be responsible for ensuring the processing & kitchen facilities are maintained and sanitized.You have the very important task of ensuring the refuse & waste products are managed & destroyed, along with ensuring all equipment and maintenance of dishes, walls, sinks, and tables are sanitized.You will be responsible for duties including but not limited to mopping up spills, leaks, and other occupational hazards, sweeping, washing, cleaning, and sanitizing tasks.You have a strong attention to detail, which enables you to follow SOPs, maintain detailed records of sanitation activities and to follow directions closely. You are able to mix and use cleaning and sanitation chemicals, operate sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other custodial equipment. You are very dedicated to safety and compliance, so you are familiar with and use best practices for using and when necessary disposing of cleaning agents and disinfectants.


You should at least have 2+ years' experience in cleaning / janitorial services, preferably in a regulated industry.Ideally, you have some maintenance knowledge and can identify possible repair, preventative maintenance, and upkeep issues on all equipment. You must be eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis Company in the State of Washington, which includes being 21 years of age or older. You must also be able to work on your feet and lift, carry, & balance up to 50 pounds, along with handling hazardous materials - You must be able to do all this safely and with extreme care and caution.You will be required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time, frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and will be frequently required to perform repetitive motion tasks. You must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. English language speaking skills, both verbally and written, are required, along with basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ideally you also have a ServSafe Food Handler's card. While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud and the temperature may fluctuate between hot and cold frequently.You must be able to be in an environment where Cannabis is present.


Pay: $20-$22/hour
