Outside Sales Representative – San Antonio, TX VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales in the San Antonio region. The candidate will be responsible for leading sales efforts, business development, strengthening relationships, and securing new business for the company. Responsibilities Lead sales efforts and business development to secure new customers. Articulate how our technology, products, and services meet customer needs to both business and technical users. Draft quotes and proposals to win business. Utilize the Eagle ERP system and CRM to track leads, produce quotes, and convert quotes to sales orders. Maintain open communication with the VP of Sales, Operations Manager, inside sales, and the rest of the Eagle team. Stay organized, learn the technical nature of our product portfolio, and understand customer needs. Job Duties Create customer quotes and sales orders for our products and services. Prospect, develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with valve automation, flow measurement, and instrumentation customers. Work closely with senior management to manage and develop relationships with target customers. Maintain communication records and execute key sales initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction. Learn and incorporate new products, service capabilities, sales tactics, tools, and processes. Assist in marketing efforts. Attend training to expand knowledge of products. Ensure regular and reliable attendance. Required Qualifications Proven outside sales success with 3+ years of experience (technical sales preferred). Proven success at securing new accounts. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good verbal and written communication skills. Highly self-motivated and disciplined. Team player. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to travel out of town and/or overnight. Must successfully compete pre-employment screening requirements, including background check, MVR, and drug screen. Desired Qualifications Experience working with an ERP and CRM system. Experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically automation and measurement.
