This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery department of a healthcare facility. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns. Job Details Position: RN Labor and Delivery Location: Weatherford, TX Shift Details: 12-hour nights, scheduled for 48 hours per week, with weekends rotating. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications; 2 years of hospital or specialty experience in labor and delivery. Additional Job Responsibilities: Must be able to circulate C-sections, manage recovery, handle immediate newborn care, including the golden hour, baby care, and PACU procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to scrub C-sections, Meditech experience. Certifications: Active Texas RN license, BLS, NRP, AWHONN. Patient Experience: Providing bedside shift report and patient care in a fast-paced environment. Unit Policies: No RTO or special scheduling requests; no floating required; unit operates with a no-floats policy. Dress Code: Facility will provide scrubs; hair must be neat; tattoos covered if feasible; body art and visible piercings should be addressed per policy.
