Production Manager

Overview Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Production Manager in the Bloomsburg, PA area. Responsibilities Ensure food safety is upheld by all employees, reporting any issues to supervisors or managers. Implement the vision and direction set by the Vice President of Operations. Provide strong leadership to production team members. Maintain a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment. Oversee production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards. Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards (USDA, FDA, OSHA, GMPs). Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining safety, product quality, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with departments such as Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues. Participate in budget planning and manage production-related expenses. Coordinate and support employee training programs for safety, equipment operation, and process improvements. Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Manage and review production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing labor and equipment utilization. Support research and development initiatives for new product launches and process improvements.
