Eligibility Technician 2 The Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for full-time Eligibility Technician 2 located in Juneau, Alaska. What you will be doing As a centralized Eligibility Technician II, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate eligibility determinations and benefit authorizations for federal programs on behalf of children in the state's custody and children in Tribal custody under a Tribal/State agreement. You will perform independent case work, process Medicaid for all children in a state adoption and guardianship subsidy, and assist with applications for Social Security benefits. You will identify, research, and resolve inconsistencies and discrepancies to reach an appropriate determination or redetermination of eligibility. You will provide coverage for vacant positions, become an expert on court orders, and support centralized eligibility functions. On the job training is provided.
