A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Waverly, NY area for the current school year, with assignments in nearby Hornell and Bath, NY. This contract position runs ASAP through June 25-26 and focuses on providing essential speech-language services to PreK and elementary students.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
• Participate in meetings and provide guidance on speech and language development within the school setting

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license (NYSLP)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification required
• Experience working with PreK and elementary school-aged children in educational environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
