LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced IT End User Support Specialist for our client in Central Illinois. This is 6-month contract to hire opportunity for the right person. Key Responsibilities Include: Provide 2nd level contact and support of customer issues either in person, over the phone or via remote support tools. Work with users to determine the nature of issues, document request information, walk users through the problem-solving process and document resolution Partner and collaborate with IT Operations and Enterprise Applications teams to provide the best experience for all users. May get involved in supporting activities in these areas including but not limited to desktop imaging, application administration/configuration, hardware deployments, setting up new equipment Assist in the development and maintenance of IT training materials and Knowledge Base articles Qualifications: Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical End User Support Experience (Supporting, Installing PC Hardware, Supporting, Troubleshooting, Installing IT applications) Must have work experience with Active Directory and Group Policy is a plus Must have experience working with IT ticketing systems Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with a diversity of personalities. Must be approachable, show respect for others, and effectively communicate with colleagues in a way that projects a desire to help and a commitment to improving the end-user experience Must have a strong technical background in desktop (Mac/Windows) and cloud application support Must have telephone and mobile technical experience Requirements: Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal) Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer Corp to corp candidates will not be considered The base range for this contract position is $20 - $35 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
