RADIAL DRILL OPERATOR – INDUSTRIAL MACHINING

South Tulsa, OK | 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | $19–$20/hour

A growing heat exchanger manufacturing company in South Tulsa is looking for an experienced Radial Drill Operator / Industrial Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on shop position involving drilling, reaming, grooving, measuring and assembling metal components to precise dimensions. Candidates with experience operating radial arm drills, large drill presses, or other industrial machining equipment are encouraged to apply.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate a radial arm drill / radial drill press to machine metal components
• Drill, ream and groove holes to specified dimensions and tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions
• Measure finished work using gages, calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools
• Set up and position workpieces for machining
• Verify dimensions and tolerances throughout the machining process
• Assemble components according to drawings and specifications
• Operate other machine shop equipment as needed
• Safely move and position large or heavy components
• Use overhead cranes when required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates have experience with:

• Radial arm drills
• Radial drill presses
• Large industrial drill presses
• Machine shop equipment
• Drilling and reaming operations
• Precision measurement and inspection
• Reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Working with metal components
• Heavy manufacturing or industrial equipment

Experience in a machine shop, fabrication shop, heat exchanger manufacturing, oilfield, heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.

SCHEDULE

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Overtime as required.

PAY

$19.00–$20.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a hands-on, non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop . Candidates should be comfortable working around industrial machinery, metal components and varying shop temperatures.
