Part‑time and part‑time on‑call employees: 401(K) with company match and EAP for part‑time/part‑time on‑call employees Current Schedule Available Full‑Time Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00 am – 6:30 pm PRN Days Responsibilities Overview Comply with nursing policies and procedures to ensure nursing standards are met. Promote optimal health for clients. Administer medications and treatments per physician’s orders and in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Can administer medications via all routes, without restriction, including controlled substances. Assist clients with all health and medical devices—glasses, hearing devices, tracheotomies, G/J tubes, colostomies, urostomies, apnea monitors, CPAP machines, ventilators, oxygen, oxygen concentrators, nebulizer machines, suction devices, and suctioning toothbrushes. Monitor clients for seizures, medication side effects, signs and symptoms of illness, and provide necessary nursing interventions. Inform Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of Nursing and/or physician of changes in health status or accidents, and notify Director or Nursing or Health Care Coordinator of emergency situations. Complete all required documentation—including assessments, nurses’ notes, tracking forms, charting, incident reports, monthly/quarterly reports, etc. Assist with quality assurance reviews and file documents in charts as requested. Provide administration classes. Complete medication validation and documentation as required by APD (65G-7) guidelines. Assist with Respiratory Therapy and IV Therapy as needed, including pushing IV medications and mixing IV medications. Assist with clinical evaluations and assessment of medication administration and/or understanding of medical procedures of clients. Ensure client’s mealtime and therapeutic positioning procedures—including client transfers—are followed. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN). Active, unrestricted license as an LPN or RN in the state of Florida. Experience in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Experience with specific medical equipment or procedures. Effective communication at all levels; written and spoken English proficiency. Reliable transportation. Eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring Visa sponsorship now or in the future.
