Live-In Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Earn $241 to $257 per day as a live-in CHHA, one of the highest live-in rates in Northern New Jersey. Apply in about 5 minutes and hear back within 48 hours. Cases are available in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties.

Who you'll care for
You'll live in and care for one older adult in their home in or near Newton, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent. A UMC HomeWorks registered nurse builds your client's care plan and is your contact for questions and changes.

What you'll do

• Provide steady, around-the-clock care and companionship for one client
• Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and medication reminders
• Prepare meals, help with feeding, and keep the home tidy
• Go with your client to appointments and help them move safely around the home
• Watch for changes in your client's health and report them to your nurse

What you'll need
Required:

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification (NJ Board of Nursing)
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to speak with your client and our nurses in English and read the care plan

Preferred:

• Prior caregiving or home health experience

Pay and benefits:

• $241 to $257 per day, depending on case
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits
