Caregiver Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - (Metro West & Worcester County location). The Caregiver provides assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions
• Assisting with mobility and transferring clients
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Caregiver or similar role
• First Aid Experience
• Two references required
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
• CNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR training a plus
