Data Center Associate

Overview Client is seeking an experienced Contractor to assist our systems integration team. To reduce the threat of hardware assets being compromised, the Systems Integration Facility is responsible for sanitizing and burn-in testing computer equipment before distributing it to our Data Centers and POPs. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a data center or integration facility operation, understand hardware concepts and be motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on incoming quality control and full rack integration efforts. What You’ll Do Assemble equipment using manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications Utilize appropriate tools to install, configure and test equipment and components Perform hardware inspection according to the company’s security inspection procedures Install hardware into test stands and integrate it into production server cabinets Data entry and updating ticketing systems Advise material handlers to pick up and deliver equipment for testing and integration as needed Escalate issues to the integration manager, as needed Perform basic steps with a camera setup Perform any other duties, as needed Qualifications Familiar with copper and optical cabling Experience with power cabling Ability to lift up to 75 lb Basic computer navigation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
