The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and leading assigned warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for directing activities in a manner consistent with established goals and company guidelines. This is an onsite job only, working a schedule as follows: Monday‑Friday from 2:00 PM‑10:30 PM, located in Salt Lake City, UT. How you create impact Direct daily warehouse activities within the assigned department. Operate material handling equipment as needed. Make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to improve operations. Interact with Warehouse Supervisor to establish goals. Direct the activities of the warehouse personnel to achieve established objectives. Assist in developing processes to ensure the efficient operation and utilization of all warehouse equipment. Assist in the implementation of processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property. Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program. Ensure current, accurate inventory control and customer orders are picked and shipped timely manner. Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures. What we would like you to bring High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and 1 year in a lead/supervisory role Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision Basic computer and math skills Leadership experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment Experience with personal computers and materials handling equipment Strong customer orientation and problem solving skills. Ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadership Strong communication skills – written and verbal Establish priorities and capable of multi‑tasking Possess professional business demeanor Proficient in use of personal computers and materials handling equipment Praiseworthy history of professionalism and leadership.
