Full service civil engineering firm looking to add a Traffic engineer to their growing Transportation Department! ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs design plans, calculates and prepares engineering documents for respective engineering discipline
- Conducts traffic studies, analyzes findings, prepares reports and makes recommendations
- Prepares and monitors project budgets for traffic design projects
- Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects
- Serves as a project engineer and as a designated client contact
- Assists in construction bids or negotiations
- Controls work on team projects and ensures accurate client billings on projects
- Participates in pre-project presentations, interviews, and promotions
- Responsible for overseeing performance of personnel assigned to their projects
- Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and contractors and attends client meetings
- Coordination of project duties with key member of other disciplines
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- P.E. ND/MN or ability for reciprocity
- 5 plus years traffic exp.
