Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry background required (read tele).

Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Epic Test-Out required. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 hours per week for 12-hour schedules.

Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off
