Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with a specialty in Medical-Surgical nursing for a travel assignment in Wheeling, WV. This position offers the opportunity to work in an acute care setting, focusing on post-operative and medical diagnoses. As a Med Surg Travel Nurse, you will join a team committed to providing high-quality patient care using the Sunrise EMR system.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care to patients with orthopedic, neuro, and general post-operative conditions
• Monitor patients on remote tele as needed
• Assess IV sites; support from an in-house IV team 24/7
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, and pharmacy
• Perform patient assessments and document using Allscripts charting system

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends
