Contract To Hire Opportunity

Opportunity closely aligned with the business services clerk job description. Must have experience answering phones, welcoming guests, using general office machinery, computer experience including MS Office & web-based platforms; supply ordering/inventory & assisting with events. Minimum required: articulate, stellar customer service skills, well-written & well-spoken, computer skills, ability to work independently & as part of a team, and general understanding of the role. Availability Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Work Shift: 8 AM 5 PM

Location: CA119-Ontario-Inland Empire Blvd

Selling Points of the Location: Office close to major freeways with ample parking; snacks and drinks provided in the office.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

The purpose of this position is to perform clerical duties in accordance with the office procedures of individual departments. May include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, stenography, office machine operation, and filing. May maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer. May answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages. May open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail. May compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. May review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests. Other duties may be assigned. No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
