The Maintenance Technician I offers basic building and premise maintenance services in office, industrial, and ranch environments to company personnel. Provides first response assistance to trouble calls, makes preliminary assessment of problems, facilitate needed adjustments or repairs utilizing internal and external resources as required. Performs work of average to considerable difficulty in the journey-level performance of building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Inspects, identifies, and corrects facility, equipment and system problems to maintain properties and equipment in safe condition, prevent degradation of property and systems, and prevent failures that would cause reduction in service.

Plans and schedules corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair or modify defects and maintain operating condition of facilities, equipment, and systems.

Documents work, work orders, purchase orders, and material list to account for materials purchased and time spent in completing work assigned.

Requests supplies and materials needing to replace materials consumed and assure their availability for assigned projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency responses.

Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts' modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.

Traveling weekly to various properties.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 year related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Basic computer and smart device skills.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight regularly.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal rules and regulations for maintenance work activities.

Your Work schedule/hours

• M-F, 8am-5pm
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
