Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is a leading global asset manager, overseeing over $3.14 trillion in assets. We invest across public and private markets, providing investment and advisory services to pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments and individuals. Platform Management Overview The Alternatives Portfolio Management Group optimizes investor performance. The Platform Management team, within this group, drives day‑to‑day portfolio decision‑making. Two roles are available: Fund Management – develops and executes liquidity strategies across private‑market portfolios, manages capital activity, analyzes deal allocations, recommends optimal deployment of investable capital, and conducts performance attribution analysis. Deal & Structuring Management – owns and maintains complex fund structures, cash movement, deal allocations, foreign‑currency management, deal execution, and pipeline management. Key Responsibilities and Activities Perform daily liquidity management and prepare forecasts to evaluate current and projected funding needs. Develop liquidity recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to execute capital activity and leverage‑facility actions. Conduct attribution analysis to break down historical portfolio returns and drive performance and risk‑management improvements. Monitor investment guidelines, concentration limits, pacing, and analyze investable capital across actively investing funds and separately managed accounts. Partner with cross‑functional teams to advise on fundraising and fund‑structure creation. Track, report, and analyze detailed performance metrics. Facilitate portfolio allocations, deal execution, deal closing, and harvesting activities. Resolve legal, compliance, tax, accounting, and operational matters with internal and external advisors. Drive fund and investment rebalancing across new fund‑launch closes and coordinate capital calls, cash distributions, and regulatory reporting. Support ad‑hoc requests from senior management, including data management, reporting, presentations, and technology initiatives. Required Experience and Qualifications 1–4 years of experience in a financial services setting. Strong analytical orientation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across internal and external teams. Financial acumen to prepare cash flows and performance metrics affecting investor returns and product performance. Self‑starter with strong desire to succeed in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, results‑driven environment. Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills.
