Job Description Summary Seeking a full‑time Tampa Region Float Medical Assistant CMA/RMA. Are you ready to embark on a full medical career? Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Primary Care medical team. Monday – Friday hours, 7 paid holidays + 1 personal paid holiday. You will be responsible for providing a top‑notch patient experience for every patient that walks into the office. This includes collecting vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care. New‑hire training is comprehensive and includes classroom instruction and hands‑on experience. You will be introduced to our electronic health record systems, referral processes, patient portal and everything you need to be a successful team member. Required Knowledge and Experience Completion of a Medical Assisting Program or valid Certification/Registration CPR/BLS certification Typing speed of at least 40 WPM All certifications (e.g., CMA, CPR, BLS) must be kept current Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. Physical demands include standing, walking, walking, climbing, and balancing; occasionally sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
