About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Bluebix Health Inc to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Syracuse, New York, 13201!

Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Hours: 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM

No more than 7 days of RTO will be approved per contract.

Facility black out dates (no time off will be approved for these dates): 1/1 - 1/2, 6/29 - 6/30, 7/1 - 7/6, 8/30, 9/1, 10/31, 11/1 - 11/2, 11/26 - 11/28, 12/21 - 12/31

Orientation Day 1 - Friday 7a to 330p
1. Parking
2. Vocera
3. IMT
4. TNO Orientation Overview, FAQ, Expectations
5. EPIC Test Out (not everyone will be eligible to test out, would've been discussed in the interview)
6. Hospital Assigned Education

Orientation Day 2 - Monday 7a to 730p
1. Meet nursing educators and complete following competencies: phlebotomy, safety/restraints, glucometer, blood administration
2.Employee Health for fit test
3. Weiskotten Hall Library to complete education 
4. At 3p, go to unit to meet manager if manager requests

Orientation Day 3 and 4 - Tuesday and Wednesday
1. EPIC training 

Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit

Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State

Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. 12+ months of RN experience preferred for this position. This position actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
