• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; EPIC experience preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including those on ventilators, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, and PA lines
• Administer medications, sedation, and treatments as per physician orders
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within ICU units of equivalent or lower acuity when needed
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards throughout your shift

What You Need

• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact license recognized in Ohio
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with preference for cardiac ICU background
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines

Preferred:

• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
