Spend the day at the beach on one of the Georgia Barrier Islands (Tybee, St. Simons, Jekyll, and more) with swimming, boating, and other water activities. The Savannah area has some great restaurants and shopping, architectural tours, music festivals, and art exhibits. Savannah is also a college town, home to the award‑winning Savannah College of Art and Design.
