At this time, we do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.The Summer 2027 Software Engineer enGen Graduate Internship provides graduate students with an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions. Embedded within the DCSS application development team, the intern will contribute to application development, API integrations, cloud‑enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives that support critical business and healthcare operations.The intern will collaborate with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners throughout the software development lifecycle. Working in an Agile environment, the intern will participate in solution design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and technical documentation while gaining exposure to modern software engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and enterprise application architecture.This internship is designed for graduate students nearing completion of their degree who are interested in translating advanced academic knowledge into practical software solutions. Participants will strengthen their technical, analytical, and collaborative skills while learning how large‑scale technology teams design and deliver secure, reliable, and scalable applications.Typical responsibilities include developing and testing application components, supporting APIs and system integrations, analyzing application issues, contributing to modernization efforts, participating in Agile ceremonies, and collaborating across technical and business teams. Through mentorship and meaningful project work, the intern will build a strong foundation for a full‑time career in software engineering, enterprise application development, digital transformation, or healthcare technology.
