Location: Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL Metro Area (on-site/hybrid, with regular presence at company headquarters) Reports to: Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors Type: Full-Time, Executive Leadership The Opportunity Our client, a private equity-backed platform company headquartered in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale metro area, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance organization through its next phase of growth. Backed by a committed sponsor, the company is scaling rapidly, and its growth has begun to outpace its financial infrastructure. The incoming CFO will institutionalize the finance function to match the company's trajectory — upgrading reporting, forecasting, systems, and controls while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO, the sponsor, and the Board. This is a high-visibility seat with meaningful equity participation, best suited to an executive who can bring big-company discipline without slowing down a fast-moving business. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Performance Management Own the company's financial performance, bringing visibility to margin, profitability, and unit economics across products, customers, and business lines Partner with commercial leadership on pricing, customer profitability, and go-to-market investment decisions Establish the KPIs and management reporting that connect day-to-day operations to the sponsor's value-creation plan Align incentive and compensation structures with profitable growth Working Capital, Treasury & Capital Structure Implement disciplined cash flow forecasting, including a rolling 13-week model, and treasury operations suited to a leveraged, sponsor-owned business Drive working capital improvement through billing accuracy, collections discipline, and vendor terms management Manage the company's credit facilities, covenant compliance, and lender reporting Ensure the capital structure and liquidity can support the company's growth plans without strain Financial Operations & Systems Lead and scale the finance and accounting organization, including Controllership, FP&A, billing, payroll, and credit & collections Deliver a timely monthly close, consolidated reporting, and the board package expected by a private equity sponsor Upgrade the financial systems and technology stack, eliminating manual processes and improving data integrity from transaction to ledger Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance across all jurisdictions in which the company operates Strategic & Sponsor Partnership Serve as the primary financial interface with the private equity sponsor, lenders, and the Board Build and maintain the company's forecasting and long-range planning models, including scenario planning tied to growth initiatives Support add-on acquisitions, including financial diligence, valuation, and post-close integration Help shape the platform's equity story and prepare the business for long-term value realization The Ideal Candidate Required Experience 12+ years of progressive finance leadership, including CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance experience in a high-growth operating company Experience in a private equity-backed or leveraged environment, including lender reporting and covenant management Demonstrated success scaling a finance function through rapid growth — upgrading people, processes, and systems without disrupting the business Strong command of U.S. GAAP, multi-entity consolidated reporting, and audit preparation Track record of improving working capital, cash conversion, and forecasting accuracy Advanced financial modeling and FP&A capability appropriate for sponsor and lender audiences Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Preferred CPA and/or MBA Buy-side M&A experience, including diligence and post-close integration ERP or financial systems implementation experience (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics) Multi-state or international operations and compliance experience Spanish language ability, a plus given the South Florida market Personal Attributes Operator's mindset with command of the weekly rhythms of the business — cash, billing, and collections — not just the monthly close Commercially minded partner to sales and operating leadership, not just a scorekeeper Hands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to zoom out to sponsor-level strategy Direct, credible communicator who earns trust with the sponsor, lenders, and operating teams Compensation Competitive base salary of $300,000 – $400,000, commensurate with experience Annual performance bonus with a target of 40%–50% of base salary Meaningful equity participation in the platform, aligned with value created through growth and eventual exit Comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and retirement plan with company match #J-18808-Ljbffr East 57th Street Partners
