Qualifications:

• Current AL Substitute License or ability to obtain a license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old

Reports to: Principal/Program Director/Manager

Contract: Temporary

Supervises: n/a

Job Description/Performance Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment of instructional specialty to which assigned.
• Knowledge of student academic growth and development
• Knowledge of school's program of studies related to mission, goals and organization.
• Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and peers.
• Skilled and effective in oral and written communication.
• Ability to use and manage technology including, but not limited to email, internet, videos, etc.
• Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as needed.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Board's policies and procedures.
