DCO Facilities Site Lead

Location Las Vegas NV About Switch At Switch we dont just design build and operate data centers we are enabling the technology of the future Led by Founder & CEO Rob Roy we believe in revolutionary innovation operational excellence and the principle of karma Switch is where talented people come together to EVOLVE the digital world We believe that innovation isnt just about technologyits about the people culture and purpose that make it happen Every Switch team member contributes to a mission greater than themselves to create the worlds most advanced digital infrastructure that powers the progress of humanity The Role Facilities Site Lead What Youll Do Provide daily on site leadership to Facilities Technicians and support safe reliable infrastructure operations Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with safety and uptime standards Support Manager on Duty or on call activities during escalated events as assigned Assist with technician scheduling and coverage planning Lead or support infrastructure troubleshooting efforts and drive issues to resolution Participate in Change Advisory Board processes including ticket creation and maintenance window coordination Review and support development of maintenance procedures MOPs SOPs and safety documentation Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure work meets Switch quality and safety standards Track maintenance and asset health using CMMS and building management systems Assist with budget planning purchase coordination and documentation tracking Support recruitment and onboarding efforts for Facilities Technicians Represent DCO Facilities in operational meetings and cross functional discussions What Were Looking For Strong technical knowledge of mission critical electrical and mechanical systems Ability to lead peers and coordinate work without formal supervisory authority Sound judgment during operational events and maintenance activities Clear communication with technicians vendors clients and leadership Accountability for safety documentation and operational follow through What Youll Bring 5 or more years of experience in facilities electrical or mechanical systems within a mission critical or industrial environment Demonstrated experience leading projects or coordinating technician teams Advanced understanding of systems including generators switchgear transformers UPS systems ATS or STS units PDUs or RPPs cooling systems and fire suppression systems Experience working within CMMS asset management and building management platforms Ability to interpret wiring diagrams schematics and technical documentation OSHA 30 certification required; additional relevant certifications preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent practical experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Why Switch A Culture of Karma We are self motivated by karma ensuring our actions contribute to a positive supportive and forward thinking environment Industry Leading Designs Work with the most advanced data center technology on the planet and be a part of emerging technology development Flexibility & Remote Opportunities Whether in office hybrid or fully remote we offer the technology and support to keep teams connected and productive Career Stability & Growth In this expanding industry we invest in our people providing opportunities & advancement in a stable growing company Generous Benefits Package Switch provides comprehensive coverage for you and your family that can be tailored to fit your personal needs and more #J-18808-Ljbffr Switch
