We may have the opportunity you have been looking for.We currently have an immediate opening for a Lab Coordinator at our site in the West Valley of Phoenix. This position is integral to delivery of partner university lab for nursing students. This position will report to the Director, Nursing Services (DNS).**Site Location:** 2600 W. Camelback Road, Phoenix AZ**Schedule:** Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm, varies based on student lab schedule**Benefits:** Full benefits portfolio including tuition benefit**What you will do:*** Provide onboarding activities for Lab equipment to all faculty/instructors working in the lab* Verify competency in lab equipment operations for all individuals using the equipment annually* Serve as resource for all instructors for troubleshooting all technical problems* Maintain policy and procedure manual keeping current with equipment/mannequin information and instructions* Manage lab supplies by monitoring par levels, submitting regular supply orders, and maintaining inventory in conjunction with DNS* Collaborate on capital budget recommendations for lab equipment* Document *all* cleaning and maintenance activities of lab equipment by required dates* Create and maintain life-cycle maintenance in collaboration with vendors or lab equipment**What you need:*** Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare field* Experience working with healthcare equipment* Basic knowledge of medical terminology* MS Office and proficiency in Excel* Ability to maintain supplies, ordering and inventory management* Must be able to work a varied schedule to meet the needs of internal clients* Ability to influence within the context of having accountability but not authority* Data-driven/evidence-based decision-making skills* Self-directed with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities* Commitment to excellence in quality skills lab experience* Travel will be required for training/educational purposes**Why work at GCU:*** Exceptional workplace benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401K savings plan* Generous time off plan and 11 paid holidays* Paid time off to volunteer in the community or at GCU sponsored events* We also offer full-time employees, their spouses, and dependent children an Education Tuition Discount Program#INDLOPESUP
