Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Assignment Duration: 13‑week contract position. Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 3 × 12‑hour shifts with alternating weekends. No call or block scheduling. Pay: $833 – $1,033 per day. Hours: 36 scheduled hours per week. Start Date: 06/15/2026. End Date: 09/19/2026. Job Description The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states. The role involves following standardized procedures, preparing samples for testing, and analyzing test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing and analysis of patient samples. Prepare samples for testing according to standardized procedures. Analyze and verify test results for accuracy and compliance with critical limits. Maintain quality control throughout the testing process. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of laboratory experience preferred, specializing in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank. Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent. Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required.
