• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (no evenings/weekends)
• Hours per Week: 40
• License/Certifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD), AL State Optometry License
• Experience: New Graduates and Experienced Optometrists welcome

What You ll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate visual and ocular health
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic medications
• Provide patient counseling on eyewear, contact lenses, and eye health
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in optometry
• Support patients in pre/post-operative care and other medical therapies

What You Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Valid AL State Optometry License
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
