Schedule: Monday Friday | 4 Shifts Per Week | 6:00 AM Start

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Electrophysiology (EP) Lab for a 13-week contract position in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The RN will support a busy and complex electrophysiology program working alongside electrophysiologists in a two-lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures before, during, and after interventions.

• Assist electrophysiologists with complex EP procedures while maintaining patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient procedural workflow.

• Monitor patient condition, administer medications as ordered, and recognize and respond appropriately to changes during procedures.

• Support electrophysiology mapping and procedural workflows using CARTO and assist with procedures including Watchman cases.

• Collaborate with electrophysiologists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care, procedural preparation, recovery, and clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Valid for Practice in Connecticut Required.

• Minimum 2 Years of Electrophysiology Nursing Experience Required.

• Current ACLS Certification Required.

• Hands-On CARTO Mapping System Experience Required.

• Experience in a Busy Electrophysiology Lab With Complex EP Procedures, Including Watchman, Required.

The Electrophysiology RN will provide specialized procedural nursing care while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality cardiac electrophysiology services.
