Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Assistant to work in the Brain Injury unit at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:

? Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:

? Conduct and document comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.

? Order, perform, and interpret laboratory results and diagnostic studies to formulate accurate diagnoses.

? Clinical Management & Treatment:

? Develop and manage treatment plans for a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

? Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Attending, adhering to all New Jersey state regulations.

? Collaboration & Advocacy:

? Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

? Serve as a dedicated clinical resource and passionate advocate for patients and their families.

? Patient & Family Education:

? Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and effective health education to empower patients and their families throughout the care journey.

REQUIREMENTS: PA

? Certification: Must hold an active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential.

? Education:

? PAs: Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.

? Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted New Jersey state license as a Physician Assistant.

? Experience: Open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.

COMPENSATION:

Minimum Starting Base Salary: $148,803.20 Annually
